Spiritual Realization Requires a Spiritual Master

The highest human potential is God-Realization, the complete awakening from this "dream" of limited existence -- to awaken as the One in Whose Consciousness the dream is arising. But such Realization requires more than self-effort, techniques, or belief.

The Role of the Spiritual Transmission Master

Throughout human history, the greatest Spiritual Realizations have always occurred in the context of a relationship between a Spiritual Master and a devotee. The Spiritual Master serves as a living conduit of the Divine Reality, transmitting the very Spiritual Force that awakens and transforms the devotee.

This is not about authority or hierarchy in any conventional sense. It is about the simple fact that Spiritual Realization is not something that can be achieved by the separate self. It must be Given -- transmitted -- by One Who already enjoys that Realization.

The Guru-Devotee Relationship

• The devotee's role is to turn to the Guru with devotion and to receive the Guru's Transmission
