Spiritual Transmission is the direct communication of Spiritual Reality from one who has Realized it to one who has not. It is not a concept or a belief, but a tangible Spiritual Force that can be directly felt and experienced.
Just as a tuning fork that is vibrating can cause a nearby tuning fork to begin vibrating at the same frequency, a Spiritual Master who has Realized a high degree of Spiritual Consciousness can awaken the same potential in those who come into His or Her Company with an open and receptive disposition.
Avatar Adi Da Samraj's Spiritual Transmission is described by His devotees as uniquely powerful and all-encompassing. It is not limited to any particular type of Spiritual experience, but extends to all dimensions of the being -- physical, emotional, mental, and beyond.
The reception of this Transmission is the basis of all practice and growth in the Way of Adidam. It is what distinguishes Adidam from paths based primarily on techniques, beliefs, or self-effort.
